The Bookshop on Main

The Bookshop on Main is an independent bookstore in downtown Ambler. Founded by a husband and wife, married in town more than twenty years ago, the shop grew from a longtime love of books, reading, and indie bookstores.

Inside the shop, you’ll find books, gifts, and local art, along with author events, book clubs, and seasonal gatherings throughout the year. Our hope is to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and connected to the incredible community around it.
