Helen Jonsen is a language architect and strategist, author, and speaker whose career spans journalism, digital innovation, public service, and nonprofit advocacy. She is the host and producer of This Kaleidoscope Career, a podcast and newsletter celebrating bold, nonlinear professional paths. Helen’s own kaleidoscope career has taken her from New York and international newsrooms to executive boardrooms, startups, nonprofits, and government agencies. Through her firm, Helen Jonsen Media, she helps women and leaders strengthen messaging and impact through strategic consulting, media advice, storytelling, and training. Her media career began working on-air and behind the scenes at WPIX 11 and NBC News, among others, and for Australia’s Network Ten and Nine Networks. More recently, she led strategic public communications for NYC Economic Development Corporation and a major New York district attorney’s office. In addition to This Kaleidoscope Career, she is also the author of a series of children's books for the holidays and four adult books on Australian-English and travel.
