On the Road Again Celebration

About This Event

After a summer of construction, Oak Park Avenue is getting ready to reopen—and we’re marking the occasion with a community block party in the Hemingway District.

To celebrate, Piggie and Gerald are coming to Dandelion Bookshop! Your favorite best friends will make appearances throughout the day, including story times at 10:15 am and 2:15 pm. We can’t wait to see you, reader!

Join veteran author Barb Rosenstock as she takes you on a brief journey from initial idea through finished book, with stops at deciding on audience, drafting and shaping your manuscript, and thinking about visuals (even if you’re not an artist).
