Join The Lit Wagon for Dachshund Thru the Bookshop at Midwest Coast Brewing with Chicago Dachshund Lovers' 6th annual Dachshund Derby! We'll be popping up with a curated collection of books for dog lovers, summer readers, and anyone who thinks life is simply better with a pint in one hand and a book in the other. 🐶📚🍺
Plus, we'll be alongside the amazing West Town Flower Girl, so you can leave with books, blooms, and enough serotonin to last until fall. 🌸
The Dachshund Derby benefits Dachshund World Charities and features races for purebred dachshunds and wiener mixes, plus plenty of opportunities to cheer on the cutest athletes in Chicago. Spectators are absolutely welcome, even if you don't have a dog! & if you do have a dog, bring them too bc MWCB is dog-friendly.
Come say hi, pet approximately 100 adorable long dogs, grab a beer, browse some books, and help me decide who deserves Best in Zoomies. 🌭💛
