Craft, Listen, and Connect: An Audiobook Crafting Circle
About This Event
Celebrate Audiobook Month with us with shared audiobook listening session and crafting circle!
Bring a craft and join us for a relaxed morning of creativity and connection. At Connect, Craft & Listen, we’ll listen to the same audiobook together while crafting (knitting, embroidery, drawing, collage, or anything portable you enjoy).
After listening, we’ll spend time in a relaxed book club conversation. The shared listening experience creates an easy way to connect, reflect, and meet others.
No crafting expertise required. Just bring a project and settle in for a cozy, thoughtful morning.
Things to Know
• Please bring a craft project to work on, along with any tools or materials you’ll need.
• The session will include approximately 30 minutes of listening and 30 minutes of discussion.
• No headphones are required. We wil llisten together on a speaker.
Free to attend. Seats are limited to keep the gathering intimate so RSVPs are encouraged.

Passages is a community focused bookstore and wine café in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. Passages sells mostly fiction books (all of the fiction genres) and nonfiction around hobbies that nourish (travel, gardening, cooking). Passages is people focused and offers a comfortable place to read, unwind, sip, and connect with others over a shared passion.

Small Town September: Book and Wine Pairing Event is Friday September 25th at 6:30pm. Let's escape to a charming small town this fall. We're pairing books that have quaint main streets, changing leaves, and comforting characters with wines perfect for a cozy read. Each tasting includes the guided session, 6 tasting pours of wine, and a light snack. Event is 21+. Must bring valid State ID.
Horror Retelling October: Book and Wine Pairing
Event is at Passages Wine and Books at 6:30pm. Two dates to choose from: Wed October 28th OR Fri October 30th. We are stepping into the shadows this spooky season. We are pairing reimagined stories of classic horror and gothic tales with wines thoughtfully selected to match the dark tales. Each tasting includes the guided session, 6 tasting pours of wine, and a light snack. Event is 21+. Must bring valid State ID.
