About This Event

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8TH / 4-6 PM / CHICAGO STORIES: LOCAL AUTHOR PANEL + BOOZY BOOK FAIR POP-UP @ UNE ANNÉE BREWERY IN NILES
Local Readers (GROWN-UPS 21+) - Join us for a Chicago Stories: Local Author Panel and Boozy Book Fair Pop-Up (featuring book chats, meet + greets, book signings, bingo fun + more) at Une Année Brewery in Niles! We've got quite the lineup ready for our Chicago Stories: Local Author Panel + Boozy Book Fair Pop-Up!

We'll kick off the festivities with a quick meet + greet mix n' mingle while guests arrive, then jump right into a conversation with authors Lori Rader-Day, Renée Rosen, Sandra Jackson-Opoku (ft. her NEW BOOK: Savvy Summers and the Po'boy Perils) and Maggie Andersen to learn more about their amazing stories inspired by our beautiful city. After the writers wrap up their talk, guests will get a chance to partake in an optional Chicagoland bingo game with the authors for a chance to win bookish prizes!

There will also be a New Book Joy bookish pop-up shop where guests can buy signed copies of the authors' books and browse our curated collection of other featured titles and themed reading pairings available for purchase too. AND... Since this is a celebration, guests are invited to grab a bevy (including craft beer, other bevys and NA options!) from Une Année Brewery to enjoy before, during or after our bash.

Come for all or part of the fun - it'll be a blast!
