Join us to celebrate the launch of The Star of Kilnaely by local author Grace Daly with an author discussion, Q&A, signings, and a raffle!
Grace Daly (she/her) is a Bram Stoker Award-nominated disabled author with multiple invisible chronic illnesses. She lives near Chicago and spends most of her free time with her dog, who is a very good boy. She is the author of horror comedy novel The Scald-Crow and fantasy comedy novella The Star of Kilnaely. Her interactive horror/sci fi/comedy novel, Escapist Fiction, is forthcoming in 2027. Joining her in conversation is Lauren Bolger, an avid music fan and author of The Barre Incidents and Kill Radio, two genre-bendy Horror novels published by Malarkey Books. Build a Monster Clinic with Gene Ha
Join local comic book artist Gene Ha (best known for his art on Wonder Woman Historia, Top 10, and other superhero comics, as well as his graphic novel Mae) to create your own imaginary Invisible Friend! Join us to design, create, and personify your very own monster friend! Supplies will be provided, but it will be up to you to create a look, backstory, and personality for your creature. No RSVP required, but seating will be limited, so come early to claim your spot!
A Court of Splintered Harmony Release Day Party
Join us for light snacks, activities, and other book lovers at a day-of release party for the newest installment in Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses world! Because midnight is late but we still want to celebrate with other readers. No preorder necessary to attend, but we encourage them to make sure we have adequate stock on release day.
