It's the first book in a new series, published in May 2026, and is compared to Harry Potter and Amari and the Night Brothers.

The Adventurers Guild Book Club is reading The Missing Magic of Sparrow Xia! The Adventurers Guild Book Club is for middle grade (ages 8-12) readers of fantasy and adventure. A monthly membership in the guild includes the book, an awesome package of bookish goodies, and participation in the Guild meeting.
